This is an important milestone in the Morfik AppsBuilder development process and includes a number of new and exciting features, as well as bug fixes that were identified by our customers.
The key new feature in this release is the inclusion of Morfik’s new system of Packages and Widgets, that provides a solid platform for developers to create custom controls or fully functional solutions that can plug into any Morfik project.
This release also includes another key feature that developers have been waiting for; support for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Morfik 2.1 applications are now accessible to search engines. Their content can now be selectively published, with clean URL, through the use of the new hyperlink property and the "Publish URL" command.
Some other highlights include:
- Next Generation of Auto-Deployment and an Integrated Hosting Platform. All Morfik 2.1 users get to experience this amazing deployment system through the new "Demonstration Deployment". Morfik Developers Assist (MDA) members are also provided with "Development Deployment" spaces.
- New "Save As" option with ability to save projects in different Languages or Project Types
- Introduction to Drop-down controls, the basis for Morfik's upcoming advanced controls
- Ability to build Morfik Applications using C#. Morfik CX is the latest addition to the Morfik product family for developers who are familiar with C#
